Ai ai ai ai aiii... O tal do Skype!

Como estão vocês? Animados com uma semana nova? Eu estou SUPER *-*

O assunto de hoje é SKYPE, e eu que não tenho muita experiência no assunto (tive 4 skypes) vou falar pra vocês umas coisinhas importantes.

Antes de tudo, vou contar minha experiência:

1ºSkype:

Foi com uma family que eu achei no GAP.

O Skype foi tranquilo, eles foram legais, mas a gente não perdeu aquela sensação de entrevista.

Falei com eles faz um mês e eles ainda não tomaram uma decisão. #chatiada

2ºSkype:

Foi com uma Nany de uma family de NY que estava procurando Au Pair, foi bem tranquilo e ela foi uma fofa. Mas eles queriam Au Pair sem agencia e pra ontem.

3ºSkype

Uma family que me achou na Expert Au Pair. Uns lindos. Falei com a hosta e com  a Au Pair, elas foram lindas e foi um bate papo bem legal, não me senti "entrevistada" e sim como se estivesse conversando com alguém de boa.

4ºSkype

Foi ontem, com a family anterior. 

Ela se atrasou quase uma hora. Imagina meu desespero haha. Mas eu esperei!

Então loves, o que eu quero dizer é que CADA SKYPE É UM SKYPE. Cada family tem seu perfil e você vai ficar nervosa SIM, seu inglês vai travar sim... Mas tudo vai dar certo.

8. Se a criança for bebê: Is she/he walking and talking yet?

11. What do they usually eat? (for breakfast and lunch)

12. Am I be supposed to make dinner?

13. Is there any kind of food that they don’t eat?

14. Have the kids suffer from any kind of allergies?

16. Are there other families with children nearby?

18. Have you already talked to them about the arrival of an Au Pair? How was their reaction?

05. Will I have access to internet and computer?

06. Can I receive and make phone calls in your house?

07. Will I have time to study? What time? Can I study when the children are in the school?

08. Are there any School/Communty College/University near your house?

09. What time can I get home during the week and on the weekends?

10. What are the most important rules and restrictions that I should know about? 

ABOUT THE CAR: 

24. Will I have permission to use the car? How often? How far?

25. Will I have to pay for the gas when I use the car?

26. Is a state driver’s license required?

27. Are there only certain times when I can use the car?

28. Can I use the car in my free time?

29. Are there any kind of public transportation near your home that I can use to go to downtown?

ABOUT THE PARENTS: 

01. What are your names? How old are you?

02. Do they both parents work?

03. Where do you work and what do you do?

04. Do you have any religion?

05. Do you drink or smoke?

06. Why are you interested in getting an Au Pair?

07. Have you ever had an Au Pair before? Is she living with you yet?

08. Would you mind if I ask you to talk to her or send her an e-mail?

09. Have you ever passed trough a rematch? Why?

10. What are your hobbies?

11. Do family members or relatives live nearby?

12. Do they (relatives) visit you a lot? How much?

13. What qualities do you find important in an au Pair? What are you expecting from me?

14. What are the house’s rules?

15. What are the family activities on the weekends?

16. Do you eat dinner together?

17. Do you mind if the Au Pair eat dinner with you?

18. What do you do for calm down the kids?

19. How many times per week do you put the kids on their bed?

20. Who is responsible to go to the school’s reunions? 

ABOUT THEIR HOME: 

01. Where do you live? In which State?

02. Is it a small town?

03. Is it near a big city? Which one?

04. Is it too cold in the city? Snow there?

05. Do you live in house or apartment?

06. Do you have pets?

07. Do you have a housekeeper?

08. What about the au pair’s bedroom, what part of the house is the bedroom located?

09. Will I have a private room, bathroom? Will I have TV/Internet in my room?

10. Are there other families with children nearby?

11. Are there any other au pairs in the area?

12. What things are there to do with the children?

13. Can I receive another Au Pair at home?

About animals

01. Do you have pets?  

02. What their names?

03. How kind of responsibilities I will have with them?

Pega essas perguntas e RISQUE as que você já sabe a resposta e as que você achar inútil.

Depois separe em 2 listas: Skype e E-mail.

Agora separe por prioridade. Exemplo:

-Eu vou ter carro? - É uma pergunta IMPORTANTE mas que eu acho meio chata de fazer no skype. Então vou perguntar por E-mail.

-Porque vocês querem uma Au Pair? - Não é importante, mas pode ser útil pra quebrar o gelo no skype ou pra quando ficar sem assunto.
